Register a new domain.
Look above for the Domain Name Availabilty Checker, enter the domain you require and select the TLD (ie .co.uk/.com etc) click ‘GO’ and the system will check to see if the domain you want is available. We can register .co.uk, .org.uk, .com, .net and .org domains automatically, if you require a different TLD, email us first and we will prepare a custom quote for you.
If you only wish to register a name only then click the order domain option, if you want a hosting plan as well as the name you need to select a plan first then the domain name.
We register names in your name so you own the domain name not us.
The domain registration process can take 24-48 hours to complete.
Once a domain is registered it cannot be changed! Please bear this in mind and check your spelling carefully!!

DNS Updates.
If you want to keep your existing domain name provider and wish to simply ‘point’ the name to your site hosted at Fusion Hosting it’s not a problem, it won’t cost you anything either.
Simply select the ‘update nameservers only’ option during ordering, when your account is activated you will recieve an email containing Nameserver information, take this information and go into your domain control panel on your name providers website and update the nameservers there. If you have difficulties please feel feel to contact our support department and they will guide you through the various DNS options.

Domains ending in .uk are £8 per year, but due to Nominet rules they must be registered for a minimum of two years.

Domain Parking
If you have mulitple domain name for your website you can point them all to your account, this is known as domain parking. Parked domains will only point to the main website and not to sub domains or files and folders you will need more than one hosting plan if you need multiple websites for multiple names.
